Using this application you will be able to determine the approximate day a C1, C2
or C3 Corvette was build at the Corvette factory. This handy application is determining the birthday of C1 (1953 till 1962 models), C2 (1963 till 1967 models) and C3 (1968 till 1982 models) cars using the best historical build statistics available today. This information can help car owners or restorers determining which parts or assembly procedures to use to make the car as authentic as possible. The application only work when the phone has a working internet connection, either via cell (2G or 3G) or via WiFi since the birthday date is derived via the internet. UsageUsing the picker wheel select the five last digits of your Corvette VIN tag and press the Calculate button. The application will then present you with the approximate day the car has left the Corvette factory.  When the cars model year and the cars VIN is selected which doesn't fit the known production numbers (e.g. in 1953 only 300 cars were produced) the Corvette Birthday Calculator will let you know. Also note that before 1957 the VIN number started counting at 01000 instead of 00000 so select your last VIN digits exactly as they are stamped on the cars VIN tag.
