Vehicle Description
1956 Corvette PROJECT. This is a project car....YOU CAN'T DRIVE IT HOME!!! It needs the bodywork finished, paint, upholstery, the engine installed, etc. IT HAS A VIN TAG AND TITLE!!! It rolls and steers. Nice clean frame. Completely stock steering and suspension. Following is what is included: Body, with hood, hinged doors with glass, deck lid, trunk lid(with their hinges). Windshield and frame. Rolling, steering frame, with steering column (no steering wheel). Seat frames with cushions (backrests are stock, bottoms are not). New aftermarket hardtop (was $1095 from Corvette America). No wiring, instruments, radio, heater, latches, or other upholstery. If in doubt, assume it's not included! The rear wheels and tires are not mine...They are not included. Here's the good stuff: Brand new, in the GM crate, COMPLETE 350 RamJet fuel injected motor, with the computor, all wiring, books, etc. This is the most recent model of this, with oxygen sensor. I bought this new for over $5,000. These are really retro looking engines....Looks VERY similar to the old fuelies! REALLY easy to install and hook up.NEW stainless headers, new clutch assembly, bell housing, driveshaft, Completely rebuilt, fresh Muncie 4 speed transmission with Hurst shifter. Engine accessories include STREET &PERFORMANCE stainless fuel lines, fuel filter, and other parts. Aluminum pulleys, new high-torque starter, chrome 1-wire alternator, custom made front engine mount (mounts engine to stock location). New aluminum cross flow radiator, new ROCK VALLEY fuel tank (goes in the stock location) with the RAMJET fuel pump installed in it. I have almost $30,000 invested so far.... I will discount the winning bid by the following amounts, if I keep the following: Steering column-$300, Windshield frame-$1500, seats and frames-$1,000,Hardtop-$500, Engine with all accessories-$4,000, Muncie 4 speed-$800, fuel tank-$400, Vin tag and title-$1500!!! That's $10,000 right there! Some of the items which the buyer will need to get are: gauges, upholstery items, lights, chrome, etc. |
