You are bidding on a total professionally completed frame-off restored rare 245 HP/Dual Quad 1957 Venetian Red Corvette Roadster. This absolutely gorgeous 57 Corvette is in prime restored condition. It had a complete frame-off restoration that was professionally completed several years ago to a very high point level show quality. It has been climate controlled (heated garage) stored and never driven in rain or inclement weather since its frame-off restoration was completed. This particular 1957 Corvette Roadster is stunning in all aspects and will not disappoint the fussiest collectors looking for very detailed and truly high quality restoration workmanship throughout. If you have been searching for the just the right 1957 Corvette to add to your collection or full fill a lifelong dream than this is the one. This is a rare opportunity to purchase a 1957 Corvette roadster 245hp/dual quad out of a private collection in the best color combination Venetian Red/Red interior/Beige soft top/&Beige side coves. This Corvette can definitely make your dreams come true indeed.

Lets talk about the most important details;
This 1957 Corvette had a complete professional frame-off the body restoration completed on it approximately 7 to 10 years ago and has been treated to heated and climate controlled storage since then hence the condition of the restoration is virtually time warped and indeed appears to have been finished rather recently. The body is absolutely gorgeous, laser straight with an excellent panel fit throughout. The paint work is stunning very high quality that will impress even the most discerning eyes. Chrome is all nickel plated and very show worthy throughout. The red interior is correct in its original details and is stunning throughout (note: radio is not the original). Frame and undercarriage are in excellent condition as you would expect on a Corvette of this high quality. Overall cosmetics on this 57 Corvette roadster are superb with no disappointments.

Lets talk about mechanicals;
This corvette has had a complete mechanical rebuild done to all the major components when the frame-off restoration was completed. The engine is a 1958 Corvette 283/245hp cast #3737739 built February 6, 1958 with the correct intake #3739653 and engine pad #T2I29. The engine runs out 100% and is very strong/smooth and is the proper replacement of the original 1957 283 V-8 which are nearly identical. Mated to a smooth shifting 3 speed manual gearbox. Under the hood everything looks very correct and is very nicely detailed throughout. All major operating systems have been completely rebuilt & gone thru and all operate and function with excellence and are totally turn-key.

This 1957 Corvette is an exceptional restored investment quality roadster at a very attractive price. The cost of a restoration of this high quality can certainly exceed 75k and takes years of time and patience to complete also keep in mind that you will need a good core example to start with. Now factor all of that into your total out of pocket costs. The 1957 Corvette Roadsters are arguably the most sought after Corvettes by top collectors worldwide and with only a mere 6,339 being produced in 1957 finding one in this top condition is a very rare find.

Please take all this into consideration when bidding on this fine automobile and bid with ultimate confidence.
