Car history: |
From Corvette Enthusiast Magazine, February 2004, pg. 22-23:
Car had been in Flint, MI since 1957 and was purchased by a guy who spotted it on a used car lot in Birmingham, MI. He drove it back to Flint, MI where it was passed on to several different owners.
Car was hit in 1965. A large hole was punched in the trunk lid and both rear fenders sustained damage. Instead of being repaired, the car was brought to the owner's house and stored in a shed until David Foutch bought it in 1974. He stored the car in a garage after buying it where it has not been touched since.
Car is mostly complete, but in need of total restoration, including body repair, parts replacement, paint, glass, interior, tires, chassis, etc.
