The car you are viewing is a very nice 1960 Corvette Roadster, with a numbers matching 245hp 283 block, 519 casting w/ dual carbs, and a 4 speed Muncie transmission. The motor is correct, but the transmission is not...the car is supposed to have a T-10 trans...but it is an original 4 speed car. The car is very original for the most part, and has never had a frame off restoration, but it has been well maintained throughout the years. The condition is as follows:

Frame and Suspension: The frame is solid all the way around...with just minor surface scale from storage...otherwise solid, and for the most part very clean. Most of the suspension has been replaced...the king pins, control arm bushings, ball joints, sway bar links, tie rods, & shocks. Steering is tight, and the car goes down the road straight.

Engine and Trans: The motor is the original 283 with factory dual carbs. Runs very well, and leaks a very minimal amount of oil. No unusual noises, or oil burning. I would estimate the motor having been rebuilt over 10 years ago, but with next to no mileage put on it since. The transmission is a Muncie 4 speed...shifts nicely and problem free. Transmission was probably rebuilt around the same time. Clutch is also good.

Interior: The interior is in very nice shape. The gauge cluster has been rebuilt, and all instruments work...dash, seats, and door panels are very nice with no damage, and the carpet is also in good shape. The radio is an aftermarket AM/FM w/ Tape made by Custom Auto Sound.

Paint and Exterior: The paint looks great from 10 feet away, but in many areas close up you can see small spider cracks in the paint, and some chips here and there but by no means is the paint terrible. The only body work that the car appears to have had is on the right front fender...and it was very minimal. Otherwise the rest of the body is still original and unhit. The chrome on the car is in very good condition...the bumpers, grille, and body mouldings are nearly flawless. Window glass is in great shape, and the convertible soft top is in good shape with the exception of a couple rips in the bottom corners which can be seen in the pictures. The hub caps are in excellent condition with no damage at all, and the tires are older Firestone white wall radials.
