Car history:
If you are looking for a project and want a good car when finished, then you better start with a good car in the beginning.

We got this car from second owner. He bought the Vette in 1964, Check the photo of title. Check photos of car with plates the came with car and come with car. Restoration was started in 1981, the car was put on the back burner. Car had sat for some 27 years before we got it.

This is a no hit body, no sign of ever being wrecked. Some of the usual small dings and bruises. Looks like someone did some amateur body work with little fiber glass but that should all come back off. This body is as good as it gets. This car was painted once in its life that was in 1957 by GM. No damage no paint work ever. As you can see there is almost no paint left on car. This car was not stripped with chemicals. The original paint was so thin (Look At Hardtop) That is was merely hand sanded to this condition. Body tells it all nothing hiding under primer.

Frame is excellent, no rust, never hit, never bent, or straightened. Bottom side of car is excellent. We have only 3 original hubcaps, only 3 correct wheels. This car came with two tops we have both (convertible and Hardtop). Top bows are excellent condition. They still show original factory white paint. They still open and close great. Comes with new convertible top, white, with padding all still in the box. Hardtop is the original that came with car all the glass has the right numbers that the number nuts want to see. This is the top that came on this car. All windows have date codes and right markings. We have a new gas tank, new fuel gauge sending unit to go inside new gas tank. This car came with a power glide-We do not have the original power glide transmission. We do have the original motoro that came in this car, not one that has been grounded on and stamped. but the one that came in this car from GM. We have the original intake, carbs, air cleaners are all here. Distributer, valve covers, generator, exhaust manifolds, horns, and all original gauges are here. original clock was replaced with another gauge but clock is here.

In the car new is a 1967 283 motor, a 1962 corvette shifter and transmission. it is a 4 speed. we have all the original ignition shielding. all of it, all small brackets and all chrome parts that make up the set. They got head of themselves on chrome plating and they buying of convertible top. They did replate front and rear bumper-rest of pieces need replated to be show quality. All stainless is here and looks to be usuable with buffing. The original wonderbar radio is still in the car. The original sun visors are still in tact and in car-I have not seen any of them in 30 years. the 3 holes front and back for round emblem are there-never filled in-which is rare.

If car does not sell we may sell original parts and continue with our original plans we had for car.
