Engine details: Engine is a 350 with a late 60's quadrajet carburetor on a cast iron manifold. There are no exhaust manifolds, there are headers instead.

Car history:
1958 Corvette garage kept unrestored "used car" condition. Have owned for 40+ years. Exhaust system is in good shape with new after market mufflers. No ignition shielding isincluded. The distributor has been converted to "pointless". Transmission is a Borg-Warner T-10 4 speed of mid 60's vintage with a Hurst shifter. rear end gear is non-original, non-posi 3:55 ratio. All running gear is in good shape. Car starts, runs and drives great. Although the front end might need some new parts if you were going to do a lot of highway driving. Shock absorbers are new and not original design but do look good. Radiator was replaced 5-6 years ago and is copper/brass replacement of contemporary core design. Cools great. Frame is in original condition and is rust free. The car was originally sold in Southern California and has not seen rain since 1968. Brakes work good, master cylinder was replaced recently. Fuel pump is new also (I have the original master cylinder and fuel pump). Car came originally with 245HP dual quad 283 with a 3-speed & 4:11 posi, none of which I now have. (has an 8K tach which may indicate the 270 HP engine instead ??) Tires are Coker repro "radial", wheels are not original to the car since it had "chrome reverse" wheels, but are vintage with the bumps that hold the hubcaps on. Hubcaps are of driver quality and 1959 up design. Bumpers are driver quality and are original as is the grill and teeth, as well as the license plate bracket. There is some corrosion on the rear bumpers where the exhaust exits. Trunk spears are the originals and in good shape. Car was repainted in 1967 in 1967 marina blue and as such has cracks in it as happens to lacquer. Original color was white. There are some chipped places around the hood, and on the trunk. The interior was blue grey, is now black (not charcoal). Seats, carpeting and steering wheel are not original, nor is the soft top. Soft top cover needs to be replaced since it has shrunk and will not latch into position. Car is a lot of fun as is. It may or may not be a good candidate for restoration, antyhing is possible.
