My Father bought it for my mother on Mother's day in 1973. It was in a field with blackberries over the front and a rat's nest in the seat. A neighbor bought it from Corvettes of Auburn in 1967. It sat in the garage until 1994. I did a frameoff restoration that took until 1996. I have driven it in parades and have won many awards since then.
We ran into many problems with the car that needed explanation. One day I asked the previous owner..He said..Oh Yah, we put a 427 in it, got drunk and broadsided a semi.....It all became so clear. |
