Original 1962 Corvette Convertible, complete restoration started in 1991 and finished in 1997. Original specifications were adhered too with attention to details, especially in the interior, corvette equipment and design logos. A new ZZZ GM high performance 345hp engine was selected with a factory installed roller cam to give it muscel and speed. A high energy ignition tack drive distributor was installed to improve engine response, especially from a dead stop position. Aligned and balance a new rebuilt rear end 3:55 ratio unit to enhance engine and muncie transmission performance. New engine accessories, radiator, ss gas tank, brakes and master cylinder installed. New shocks and suspension system installed. Hard top is red with white interior and new rag top is white. Dash board interior is all new gauges and accessories with chrome detailing. Trunk has matching paint and looks like new. Detail of tires and vintage hub caps inaccordance with original equipment to highlight complete restoration. |
