Car history:
1958 Corvette that was brought back east just a few years ago from its native California. This is an absolute, guaranteed, original motor car that runs and drives like new. Nicely optioned including both a mint hardtop with crystal clear Plexiglas windows, a new professionally installed white soft top, rare factory power windows, Corvette Wonderbar radio a completely hidden remotely controlled am-fm-cd stereo system. Fabulous show quality paint done in 2004 over an excellent body with all factory panels intact, all chrome is either new or a show quality replate. Window glass is perfect and the entire car is fitted with new weather stripping including both the hard and soft tops. The engine is the factory original 283-230 HP casting #3756519 engine stamping #T519DG fitted with correct #3748770 cylinder heads and original intake, carb, exhaust and related components. Transmission is the original Powerglide, rebuilt and working flawlessly with no leaks. Rear end is a 3:08 gear ratio, correct for a 230 HP Powerglide car. 5 new correct repo 670:15 wide whitewall tires have been fitted and jack tools are in the trunk. All mechanicals including steering, brakes, exhaust and electrical's have been restored, refurbished or replaced at the time of restoration. The frame and chassis components are smooth pit-free metal showing no deterioration over its 50 year life. Interior is all new, correctly redone in 1958 Pebble Grain Vinyl including dash pad and hardtop headliner. All gauges work and the previous owner had a really fine am-fm-cd stereo system installed to not be visible and controlled by remote.
