Car history:
I bought 5960 in 1976 in San Antonio TX from a USAF sergeant. 1976-78 I 'restored' it for the first time. It was my first project car. Between 1985 and 2000 the car was in storage in Oklahoma while I was in the military. During that period I restored a couple of other Corvettes and from 2000-2002 I restored 5960 a second time. This time I did a lot better job. It is now in the nice driver + category. The car was originally a hard top-only car, but I added a soft top around 1983. Hard top-only cars make no sense to me. 5960 has never been wrecked, has no rust, and is mostly numbers/date matching. Feel free to email me if you have questions or want to compare/confirm options or details.
