Car history:
Car delivered to new EZ Davies Chevrolet in Redwood City, Ca; sold to first female owner (a teacher) and resident of Redwood City. She kept the car until 1980. As of June 2014, she is 93 years old and the current owner has corresponded with her and her husband to discuss details of their ownership. Second owner was from Pleasanton, Ca; a commercial pilot who relocated to Germany and took the vehicle with him. On July 3 1989, the car was registered in Stuttgard Germany. A German ID plate with VIN information is pop riveted to the top to the heater box. A switch for emergency flashers and anti-theft key lock were add under the dash, German headlamps were fitted. Registration paperwork shows these modifications were required. Sometime between 1989 and 2001 the car re entered North America via Canada. From 2001 to 2005 the car was owned by a collector in Napa, Ca. It then was sold to a business man (currently serving jail time in Arizona for embezzlement) for approx one year and then purchased by a Corvette collector in Las Cruces New Mexico (2006 to 2014).
