You are viewing the C2 generation of the great legacy of Corvette. This was the first year Corvette received its first major body redesign. This paticualar car came nicely equipped with two four barrel Carter Carburetors that are numbers matching with its cast aluminum intake. The engine itself is a non #'s matching engine. The transmission is a three speed tranny which shifts properly and works well with the engine. The frame is in great condition all except the holes where the exhaust pipes go through were enlarged by a previous owner. The interior is in its original state with correct working gauges and a correct wonderbar radio. The only gauge that may not work is the fuel gauge. It is an old interior we believe to be original. The chrome is all nicely polished and doesn't seem to be pitted and is in presentable condition. The paint on this car is clean and not chipped in shiney condition. The front end of the car is a darker red where we believe someone did some paint work and didn't match up the paint perfectly. The trunk compartment is all correct with its mat, spare tire, and trunk board with its instructions still intact. This is a one top car missing it soft top but is set up for a soft top with its latches on the deck lid. The hard top windows are showing age and is staring to crack. The trunk lid itself does not line up perfectly like it should but does close. This car runs great and will make someone a fun driver for the summer. The car is correct with all its components to its original style condition and has alot of its original parts still on the car. |
