Vehicle Description:
You are bidding on a Honduras Red 1962 classic corvette with 327/300HP rebuilt original engine, numbers match, 98K original miles, four-barrel carburetor, 4-SPD transmission, Hurst shifter, excellent original black interior, Wonder Bar signal seeking radio with original speaker, positraction rear end, hard and soft tops and undercarriage rust free with original bonding strips in place. This car comes with many options including the sun visors, seatbelts, windshield washer reservoir, original owners manual, corvette service guide and a very nice car cover. The car is in excellent working condition. It is a great car, garage-kept, runs well and is very powerful.
Exterior:
The body is straight and nothing on the exterior of the car is missing. The body panels line up great and the chrome is shiny. The doors, hood, trunk, and convertible top open and close very nicely. The color is Honduras Red with original matching hardtop. The hardtop’s interior is white and looks very nice. The exterior paint is very shiny with a couple of minor paint chips on the driver’s side door and a couple of small spiderwebs on the hood (they are small enough that they don't show in the picture). The soft top is white and fits tightly without any wrinkles. The windshield is in like-new condition and very clear. The headlights are T-3. The four reproduction Radial tires are P205/75R15 with 1” whitewall and original hubcaps.
Interior:
The interior is black. All gauges and electrical systems work as original. The dash lights, turn signals, console light, radio, parking warning flashing light, heater, and even cigarette lighter are working. The trunk has a black mat and the board in the trunk has the original instruction sticker for the jack. There is a reproduction jack, handle and lug wrench stowed in the trunk.
