My father Mert Buddy Houston of Palmetto Ga purchased the car in the 60s and sold the engine and drive train and converted to a drag car. Faster car in the south. He and his brother J M Melson Houston owner Houston Bros Drag Strip in Fairburn Ga in the 60s and early 70s. Car was blue until the early 2000s when dad painted it white. Still has racing engine in it minus the dual Holly carbs.
