Car history:
Beautiful 1958 CORVETTE, a non matching numbers engine.The previous owner purchased the car in 1983 and began accumulating parts and waiting for his Son to get a little older before commencing a Father / Son restoration project. This occured between 1989 and 1991. During that time-the car was stripped of worn parts, and a full repaint and rebuild was completed. The paint was professionally done. After than time, the car mostly was shown, but seldom driven. Powered by a 1964 327 Engine code FI0095, 4bbl manifold # H-275 also 3872785,GM-2. 4bbl carb is a Holly 4150 or 60--w/ vacuum actuated secondary- 600cfm.The car is physically beautiful and has 1 minor paint blemish... on the trunk area by the key latch . Also, the drivers seat shows some wear by the entry leading edge.The passenger seat is perfect. The hardtop glass has a couple of " splotches" that almost look like glue spills......but its beneath the surface.The car does not have the soft top.All the gauges work accurately except the Tach and clock. I know the steering wheel and shifter are not accurate...some of the original shifter pieces are included.The car still has the power glide, but has the Hurst shifter installed.
