For sale via e-Bay: Vehicle Description You are bidding on a original 1960 Corvette Convertible, freshly removed from 15 years of dry, heated storage. It is a wrong motor unit, but the motor will start and run. It has a hardtop ONLY. The body is nice, straight, and very original. The only repair evident is to the top corner of the LH front fender. All of the original rivets are in place in the hood surround area. The chrome is in excellent condition for its' age, and would not absolutely be needing a replate if you were to repaint it. Obviously, for show perfect chrome, you would likely replate it, but for one heck of a nice car, you might not! Included with the purchase are new seat covers, new dash pad, and new carpet. The car has a clean ohio title as well. The frame is in excellent conditon, and void of any serious rust or damage. Missing items include the original hubcaps, radio, and correct steering wheel. This vehicle is being offered to the person who is looking for a great project straight axle! There is a realistic reserve in place for this hard-to-find project! Since I have this car advertised elsewhere, I reserve the right to sell the car outright. This is an excellent opportunity at a neat car, that will be a fantastic restoration candidate for someone.
