The car was bought new by my grandpa, Don Hoskins, at Wright Chevrolet in Carlisle, IA on 7/1/1960. It is on its 3rd engine and has over 299,000 miles. It was the only car my grandparents owned from 1960 until my grandpa died in 1973. My dad, Larry Hoskins, took it over from there, and he gifted me the car in 2016.
