Engine details:	Disassembled 1967 283 was with car. Car too modified to make back to stock, so possible replacement 327 or 350 in order. 31st March, 2013. A 1964 327 engine was sourced, and has been rebuilt with KB hypereutectic pistons on 6" rods and Kenny Duttweiler alloy heads. A Holley Stealth Ram Fuel Injection has been machined down approximately 1" to fit under the hoodline, but the car is currently on a single carb on an RPM AirGap for running in.
Other details:	Nice, solid car. Previous owner sold to buy a (very nice) '59 El Camino. Chassis media blasted, zinc sprayed and painted black. Body flatted and painted Jewel Blue, although it needs further work. All evidence available points to car being Tuxedo Black, although there's not much of it. Rebuilt Muncie M20 comes with car, although it was originally a manual. Hardtop is black. 22 Oct 05. Found that the car is a 'normal cam' car - 5500 tacho - and has a non-posi rear axle, casting number 3725899. 31st March 2013. The car has been painted in an Audi metallic purple with pale silver coves. Yes, it's 'hot rod' but I like purple and the livery is an homage to the earlier 'Purple People Eater' road racer car.
