Car history:
1956 Corvette Project which is one of only 3467 built. How many can be left? Much of the necessary body work and panel replacement has been done. The car is very straight and 99% complete on the original rolling chassis. The engine is the original short block (built in March of 56)with later heads and manifold. The transmission is a 4 speed which replaced the original 3 speed at some time in the past. As far as we know, the original color was Venetian Red with matching Red interior. As you can see in the photos, the car needs restoration but is a fantastic car to start with. The glass is very nice, the doors are complete with all mechanisms intact. The are many miscellaneous parts including the original Wonderbar radio and speaker, most of the gauge package, nice seats, bumpers, very nice headlight buckets and other various trim. The only side cove stainless we have is what you can see on the right side door. In addition, a brand new complete grille bar with 13 new teeth will go with the car.
