Very nice 1955 Chevrolet Corvette in Gypsy Red with a Beige Top and Red
Interior. I am not going to go over production figures and such as its all readily
available online. I am representing this vehicle for the family that currently
owns the vehicle. I know some about this particular car as its been with this
family nearly 15 years and has never been offered for sale during that period.
As for condition, is pretty easy to describe. I was told that it was a decent
frame-on refresh in the late 1990's. Since then, it has had regular maintenance
as required. I would say that it is a nice Driver quality vehicle. It fires right up
and drives nicely up and down the road. I took a look at some of the cars
numbers but cannot say for sure if they match. The engine pad was difficult to
read and I don't know if that stamp matches. I did find the engine casting
number 3703524 and it appears to be correct for a 265 cubic inch V8 from 1955.
The paint and interior are in good condition but show signs of having been driven.
This car will draw a crowd anywhere it goes as they are pretty rare. Although
its not perfect cosmetically, the car presents itself very well and is an easy local
car show winner and a very respectable national contender with some light
detailing.

Here is what I know about the history of this car. It was bought by Mr. Bill Buck Sr.
to take on the Historic Corvette Motorama in 2002. The car was driven from
Venice, Florida to Bowling Green Kentucky and served as the representative car
for 1955. While in Bowling Green, r. Zora Duntov signed the hood of the car
which is still in place and perfect condition. The car remained in Mr. Buck's
collection up to his passing a few years back. It was driven regularly and serviced
as needed. The family has decided its time to let another Corvette enthusiast enjoy it.
