Other details:	Most dark '58s were charcoal. Black was added as a color somewhere in the June/July timeframe. This car was a true Black '58 with charcoal interior. According to the head of judging for '58 to '60 this is the second Black '58 he had heard of. This was the first black '58 to go through NCRS judging where it received high top flight ratings.
Car history:
I purchased the car at an estate auction while I was on my way to work on a '60 I used to own. Many NOS parts came with the car and a pair of used original gold nose and trunk emblems. These emblems are much thicker than the gold reproductions or silver re-issues. The car has received NCRS Top Flight and the Chapter, Regional, and National levels. This car is a good candidate for a Duntov Award since it has scored over a 98 during judging.
