This is a 1958 Corvette, red with red interior. It has an automatic transmission with a 327 motor. It is not the original motor. It is a hardtop only car. No soft top. This car runs and drives fine but had set for a long period of time. I put on a new carburator and cleaned the gas tank and it runs strong. The tires hold air but are older. This is a driver , not a show car. The paint is nice but does have a scratch or two. The chrome is nice overall but not perfect and a piece or two may need replaced. The frame is solid with no rust. The pictures of the interior actually look better in the picture than it really is. There are no rips or tears in the seats but the door panels could use some attention. The carpet is near perfect. All lights work fine, headlights , tailights , turn signals, etc. Some of the guages work and some don't. The hardtop is original, but not in very good shape; the glass on the hardtop has cracks and needs a new headliner. The weather striping around the bottom of the hard top is old but I do have new stripping that will go with the car. Has brand new hubcabs. Not the original radio. I have probably been too hard on the car but I want everyone to know it is not perfect and will need some TLC before going across the country. I drive locally with no problems |
