Car history:
This is a great driving56 Vette. Has a few paint and chrome issues. Top has small cut. The car is presentable and drives well. Has a Weber carb with aluminum intake manifold. Engine # is 0529520F56F; Transmission Casting # GM25; 3743368;1289; Rear end Casting # 9707306;G38. Radio is aftermarket cassette that works fine. According to Corvette Chronicle-1956 Specifications, there were 3467 1956 Corvettes made, and 3,080 had 2 4Bbl carbs. Therefore, there were only 387 non-four barrel cars, making them very rare. Rare is the word when you speak of the 56, which is the third smallest production Vette, (behind the 53 and 55).
