| Car history: |
| I ordered and bought this car new from Page Motors in Milford Connecticut. Used it as a daily driver until I went in the National Guard in 1965. Traded it in to Page Motors on a 1966 Chevelle SS. The car went through several carburetor configurations. It liked a 3x2 setup, but liked a 2x4 setup from a 61 Corvette best. It was raced once at the Connecticut Dragway and turned a best time of 14.31 at 94.03 mph. After being traded in to the dealer, it was stolen from the dealer and recovered. It was stolen a second time and partially stripped. It was again recovered, rebuilt, carefully guarded and sold. I last saw it in Fairfield Connecticut in late 1965. I would like to know any info on it since. |
