Availible for auction is a 1961 Corvette convertible. This car is Fawn Beige in color with White coves, White convertible soft top, and a Fawn Beige interior. Inside the engine compartment it is GM stock in appearance with a correct air cleaner and shielding over the distributor and spark plugs. The engine is a 1959, 3737739 casting code block, a 283ci engine with 230hp. The engine was dressed correctly with a Carter carburator, AC Delco Remy generator, radiator, expansion tank, and a correct style windshield washer tank. This engine starts easy and runs great. The transmission is a 4-speed manual tranny that shifts easy and works properly. This car has very nice curb appeal with good driver quality paint. The body is in good condition. The frame is in excellent rust free condition. The chrome is complete in good condition. Inside the trunk compartment this car is complete with it's original jack, tools, and a spare tire with trunk board and mat. If your veiw the photo of the trunk compartment you'll notice the spare tire instructions on the trunk board. Looking in the interior of this car it has been restored back to GM specs and is in excellent condition. The correct Wonderbar radio is in the car with correct gauges that all function properly. The seats are in great condition with correct Fawn Beige seat belts. The door panels are in GM stock condition with stainless steel covers in excellent condition The convertible top frame is in good condition with a white soft top in good condition.
