I'm retiring now that all my children are out of college, finally. I'm selling my '55
Corvette with great remorse because of its beauty and it's fun to drive. It appeals
to admirers of all ages. There were only 700 of these gems produced in 1955
and this was the FIRST year to have the 265 V8 engine (#F55FG), along with
the power glide automatic transmission, which runs and sounds great. I had a
frame on restoration done in 2012 by Sonny Hester, a well known Corvette
restorer. He removed the paint down to the fiberglass and then repainted with
two part paint, (base coat/clear coat) 2000 Corvette Victory Red paint. The
interior was redone after that process. After the paint and interior was almost
completed, Sonny had a quadruple heart bypass and never fully recovered to
complete the full restoration. There are some smaller parts that may not be
accurate for this car, but for the most part, it is original '55 Corvette parts,
including motor and powerglide transmission. It has always been stored in my
company vehicle facility, protected from all elements. I purchased the car in
2004, in Pennsylvania, and it had 41,680 actual miles on the title and the sworn
odometer statement from the dealer. It now has around 43,000. At the time I
purchased the '55, I had a 1954 Corvette that I restored, so it was a few years
before we started concentrating on the '55. This car is ready for show. It has an
AM radio, convertible white top, along with the spare tire, jack, lug wrench and
side curtains in the trunk. It will be a great investment opportunity because it
is one of the rarest of all Corvette models, and it will provide an outstanding
addition to anyone's collection. In my opinion, the '53-'55 is the most unique
body style of all Corvettes.

Thanks, James
