| I have owned the corvette for 22 yrs. The previous owner had the car for approx. 12 yrs. and kept a log or diary of all repairs, winter storage, and trips he had taken. The first 10 yrs. of ownership are unaccounted for. In the early 1980's the car was stripped and blocked sanded for straightness in preperation for show.(Pictures enclosed and more available) I've tried to keep everything origional on the corvette, including the color(light blue with a silver inlay). A corvette buff told me that there were only 12 corvettes painted that color in 1960, but I can't confirm that. Matching #'s have been confirmed by the Cal. highway Patrol.Engine block # 8756519(late 1960 casting), Generator #1102043, Dist#1110891 |
