For sale via e-Bay: We are pleased to be able to offer this fine, numbers match, 1956 Corvette. This car was restored several years ago and still shows very well. It is well optioned with the 265 2x4 dual quad set up producing 225 horsepower and put to the pavement through the smooth shifting powerglide transmission. The car is painted in a gorgeous color combination of venetian red with the polo white coves, red interior and white soft top. There were very few cars optioned this way, less than 100. So this is a rare car. It drives as good as it looks, as all mechanicals are fresh. If you are looking for a Corvette that you dont have to be afraid to drive or embarassed to show, this is it. This car was judged by the NCRS in May of 2005 and was awarded the NCRS Second Flight Award for excellence in restoration and preservation.
