1968 327c.i. Camaro: DZ block, camel hump heads, Offenhauser 6x2's manifold, six Holley 94s. Also have original 283 and ZZ4 to interchange. Cruising at 65mph on freeway, if I stand on gas pedal, 12-inch wide tires will still break loose! Now have enough original parts, including cross-ram set-up, to build a "real" 302DZ, which will become primary motor for shows. |

| Car purchased at lien sale for $200. June 1971. Previous owner lived in Belmont, Ca. He left car on side of state freeway 17 (now 880) after breaking rear end. He traded car to tow garage in Fremont, Ca. to cover built-up storage charges. Original color White with Red interior. Was painted Dark Green with Brown paisley hardtop when I bought it. I am 34-year owner still looking for original history. Car was displayed in front of Corvette/Chevrolet factory tent at NCRS Nat'l Convention-Monterey, Ca., 2002 |
