| Car history: |
Car was drag raced until the 70's and has been through hell. Stripped to bare fiberglass and parked in an Oregon barn in 1977 (Farmer owned about 10 Corvettes in barns). Car sat for 10 years and was purchased by a plumber who knew the farmer. He owned the car for one day (wife said he could not keep it) and he sold it to an electrician friend in Newberg, OR. The electrician owned the car for 10 years and sold it in the same condition in 1997.
I purchased the car in 1997 and began purchasing parts to assemble the car. I now have most of the missing pieces and hope to put the car together soon (relatively speaking of course). |
