Car history:
We purchased the car in Aug. 1999, we are 3rd owner. Previously owned by 2nd owner since returning home (19 year old kid) from Viet Nam in 1972; who drove it all over the USA, Canada, and Mexico as his daily driver. 2nd owner painted it Candy Apple Red w/ Gold underlay in 1976. The 1st winter we took out the interior and put in new dash pad, carpet, and door panels along with rebuilding and upholstering the seats. I stripped it down to bare fiberglass, did some minor repairs to body in winter 2002, and painted the car 1969 Corvette Daytona Yellow. It isn't original or perect by any means... but I drive it to have fun!
