Engine details: This car has always been babied and was restored by a very meticulous owner. I have all the documentation reflecting the work performed. This vehicle has a current state’s safety inspection. The car was used very infrequently on short rides along the parkway – no city driving. I have owned this collector’s piece for over 21 years and have to reluctantly part with it as I have no time to enjoy it due to a very hectic schedule and frequent travel. The winning bidder will be highly pleased with this timeless classic!

As you can clearly see, the glossy black exterior is showroom quality. I had the car professionally painted in 2006 ($10k) by a reputable custom paint expert. I had a professional detailer treat the glossy surface as recommended and maintained annually. The vehicle has never been exposed to unfavorable weather – always stored in a climate controlled garage. I have taken a picture of the trunk lock where there are a few tiny, hairline runs. This occurred after replacing the cylinder lock – nothing to faint over at all. The off white canvas top was replaced and is in very good condition with a clear plastic rear window. There is however a small quarter-inch nick just to the side of the top (see photo). I have removed the hydraulics that power the top and operate it manually because it sticks occasionally. All of the chrome surfaces on this car have been re-chromed and are original – pristine all over. . I also had a new windshield installed as the original one was not as clear. I have the original hardtop that is glossy and free of oxidation. This car must be seen to be appreciated!

The interior is also immaculate. The rich, black vinyl was replaced and is free of abuse and still like new. All gauges were restored by Corvette Clocks by Roger. As you can see, the dash was replaced also. The carpet is in very good condition throughout. All controls function as they should other than the powered top.

Some of the options original to the car include power windows, A/C system by Vintage Air and a power antenna. All in all, the car is in remarkable condition.

Performance is impressive thanks to the upgraded ZZ3 350CI Chevy motor. The motor was dyno-tested at an amazing 425hp! It also has “Trick Flow” big valve heads. The upgraded motor and transmission have approximately 5k easy driven miles. Most of the under hood items were all replaced. Acceleration is smooth yet robust. Idling is consistent and set to specs. The upgraded Richmond six (6) speed transmission shifts accurately as it should. The new rear end and gears are set at a 3.07 ratio. Again, I have all the documentation along with a service log. All four radials are new and a little wider than the stock tires. This gives the car a wider stance while still maintaining its classy appearance.
