Car history:
This car began life racing in Southern California and then sold in Canada where it raced in both the National Drag Series and the Canadian Road Racing Series (CASC sanction), returning to California in 1999 and then raced by Branden Grassman in the SCCA Club Series. The car was restored by Mark Mountanos and then sold to world famous (in his mind) Ron Deppert (ex-SCCA and IMSA driver). Some of the drivers were: Bob Attrell, Dr. Lawrence Barcza, Mark Mountanous, and of course, world famous, Ron Deppert of Oconomowoc, Wi. The car raced at Monterey Historics, Road Atlanta, Road America, Watkins Glen, Mid Ohio, and many other tracks. This car is listed and described in the Registry of Corvette Race Cars, registry ID #257 and is legal to race with all vintage racing organizations. Has a recent SVRA Tech inspection and comes with the SVRA log book. The previous world famous owner, Ron Deppert, is willing to go to a race with the new owner to familiarized the new owner with this race car. Per the registry description this car has always had RPO-684 heavy duty brakes and suspension although brakes and suspension have been upgraded for safety. Has radio/heater delete, T-10 transmission, 4:11 posi, fast steering adapter, heavy duty suspension, Halibrand kidney bean wheels, Hoosier racing tires, roll bar, fuel cell, cut-a-way plexi windshield, fire suppression system and Simpson belts.
