Other details:	The red stripes were copied from my Dads 53' which he owned from 1953 to 1963 in Cleveland Ohio. This is what I grew up with so my car had to have red stripes.
Car history:
This car was once used as a parts car to build another restoration. Once that was complete the owner put the V8 in it and all the old parts and used it as a driver. When I purchased the car I did a complete body off restoration in 2004 but I kept the engine, added the 700R4 trans with overdrive, air conditioning and front disc brakes. Because I wanted a car that I could drive anywhere.
