THE OBJECTIVE IN BUILDING THIS CORVETTE WAS TO BUILD A 1960 CORVETTE WITH SUPERIOR HANDLING, BRAKING, STEERING, TRACTION, AND HORSEPOWER WHILE MAINTAINING THE CLASSIC LINES OF A 1960 CORVETTE. SHE IS FINISHED IN MAGNETIC RED WITH SILVER COVES WITH A CUSTOM ROLLED AND PLEATED 2 TONE LEATHER INTERIOR CUSTOM DYED TO MATCH THE EXTERIOR.THE DOOR PANELS, DASH AND CONSOLE ARE ALSO FINISHED IN LEATHER. ALL THE CHROME AND ALUMINUM TRIM IS NEW. THE CONVERTIBLE TOP AND IT'S FRAME ARE ALSO NEW. THE HARDTOP IS ALSO FINISHED IN MAGNETIC RED. NEW SPRINGS, COILS, AND PADDING WERE USED IN THE REFINISHING OF THE SEATS. NEW CARPETING WAS INSTALLED AS WELL AS A NEW SOUND SYSTEM COMPLETE WITH A 5 DISC CD CHANGER AND A SUB- WOOFER.
THIS AMAZING CORVETTE HAS ONLY BEEN DRIVEN 2400 MILES SINCE HER RESTORATION. SHE IS POWERED WITH A CUSTOM BUILT ( AND PAINTED) 350CI 5.7 LITER CORVETTE LT1 MOTOR. COMPLETE WITH ELECTRONIC FUEL INJECTION, PORTED ALUMINUM HEADS, "HOT" ROLLER CAM, ROLLER ROCKER ARMS, FORGED PISTONS, "PINK RODS", LONG TUBE CERAMIC EXHAUST HEADERS, (JET HOT COATED INSIDE AND OUT), DUAL ELECTRIC COOLING FANS, AND THE LIST OF DETAILS GOES ON AND ON. THE ENGINE IS MATED TO A CORVETTE "ZF" 6 SPEED (SAME AS THE ONE USED IN THE 4 CAM ZR 1 CORVETTES) SHE IS RUNNUNG WITH A 3:70 POSITRACTION REAR. THE COMBINATION IS PERFECT AND WITH OVER 450+ HP NOT ONLY IS SHE QUICK OFF THE LINE BUT SHE ALSO TACHS AT 2200 RPM WHILE CRUISING AT 80 MPH.
IN ADDITION TO HER SUPERIOR DRIVE LINE NO EXPENSE WAS SPARED ON HER SUSPENSION AND HANDLING IMPROVEMENTS AS WELL.
