Car history:
I owned this car from June 1973 through August 1975. The man I sold it to kept it until January 2005! He had a frame-off restoration done on the car in the late 70s. It was still excellent when he sold it. It was almost never driven. When I sold it to him, the odometer indicated 82,000 miles.

*NOTICE* This car that I used to own was sold at the Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Auction. I saw this 1955 Corvette go thru the auction and decided to check its VIN on the B-J website. I was beyond shocked when I saw it was the very same car I used to own over 35 years ago!! It sold for $67100 including the 10% Buyer's Premium. Quite a contrast to what I bought the car for and sold it back then. I paid $1600 for it in 1973, spent $400 on it doing the exhaust, wide whitewalls and repro hubcaps for a grand total of $2000. Then I sold it in 1975 for $3000, a profit of 50%. Nothing wrong with that!!
