This car received a body-off-the-frame high dollar restoration a little over a year ago. I personally drove this car a couple of hundred miles last weekend and it ran flawlessly. It starts up every time...the first time...has 60 pounds of oil pressure, always runs cool and the charging system works perfect. At 75 mph on the Florida Turnpike it tracked straight as an arrow with NO vibrations! The tachometer works but the speedometer is erratic and not accurate...we will make an effort to have same fixed. If you look carefully at the tach, you will see it red lines at 6200..this leads us to believe this car originally had the hi-lift Duntov camshaft and solid lifters with the slight larger valves...if so desired, for a few hundred dollars, you could up the horsepower to what these engines were rated at...namely 270HP. Otherwise, all the lights work and the car runs fabulous! The convertible top, interior, carpets, are brand new...the paint and chrome are incredible...there is nothing you could do to make it run or look any better. The 3/speed manual transmission shifts perfects...this car does not leak or drip anything! The radiator is a modern, custom made high capacity radiator cooled by a modern 6 blade hi-capacity fan...this car never runs hot in traffic.
