Purchased Spring '58 in Boston area. I am by all accounts third owner. Car originally red. 88,000 showing when purchased from second owner(attorney who liquadated north shore estate-car GIVEN to him as part payment for services rendered-he stored car for 14 years/simply forgot about it. Sold to me Spring '96 for $21,000 . Could not believe my good fortune!!!!!!!!!! Simply stared at the '58 for weeks. Interior in amazing shape given the age but replaced due to mildew odor. New rag top & frame installed. Trunk rebuit. Undercarriage repainted. Tires replaced. Caps excellant after shine. Would like to have repainted to original signet red.
