For sale via e-Bay: Vehicle Description The 1960 Corvette was very similar to the 1959 model. With its curvaceous lines and classic style it has become one of the most desired corvettes by collectors today. 1960 was the last year of the rounded rear body which featured integrated tail lamps. Total production was 10,261. Handling of the 1960 corvette was improved over previous models due to a new stabilizer bar that had been added behind the rear axle. Brakes were also improved with the use of larger front wheel cylinders. The instrument cluster included a speedometer, tachometer, oil pressure guage, engine temperature guage, fuel guage and voltmeter. This corvette has had a complete frame off restoration and is one of only 989 finished in sateen silver with white coves, and red interior. The car is in excellent condition inside and out. Optional equipment include heater, wonderbar radio, courtesy lights, windshield washer, whitewall tires, hardtop with soft top, two-tone paint, four speed manual transmission. Everything mechanical works fine on this car from the engine, transmission, radio, heater, gauges, to the clock. Please note this is not a numbers matching car. You really have to see the car in person to truly appreciate it. The only item the car requires is a new soft top since the original is damaged and needs to be replaced. Vehicle Condition This corvette drives as nice as it looks. The car is mechanically sound and everything works as it should. The engine runs strong and has plenty of power. The car shifts smooth through all the gears. The body panels are straight with no waves or bubbles in the paint. The interior is perfect with no rips or tears. The car has been driven only on nice days and is as clean underneath as it is on top.This car is a very rare and is a pleasure to own due to it's oustanding condition and the increasing demand for C1 series Corvettes. We have set a reasonable reserve for this car but to keep this auction fair please don't ask what it is.
