Car history:
Purchased from a Fraternity brother from Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1969 with over 100K miles. It had been painted British racing green and the interior color had been changed to black. Most all parts were original, exceptions being the wheels (magnesium) and tires, generator, water pump, master cylinder, plus a few other high maintenance items.
Took my pregnant wife to the hospital to have our first two children. Drove it another 100K miles as a daily driver. Tore the car apart, took the body off the frame to restore it in 1985. It took me another 20 years to complete the restoration. It sat in a thousand pieces in the middle of my brother's cow pasture for 4 years while I was transferred to Albany, Georgia with my work.
