We have availible a 1961 Corvette Convertible. This car was a 283ci 270hp car. The engine in it now is a Corvette 350ci block. It has a Holley Carburator with an aluminum intake. The engine starts easy and runs good. It is backed up with a 4-speed manual transmission that works and shifts properly. The body is in good condition and was modified to look like a 1962 Corvette. Sometime in this car's past they wanted it to look a year newer buy putting a ridge on the coves. The red paint is in driver quality condition with some paint chips and aging. The frame is in good condition. The chrome is in good condition showing some age. The wheels are non original and were the previous owners choice and fit well without scraping the wheel wells and lips. Inside the interior it is mostly stock except the gear shifter. The seats and seat covers are in good condition. The door panels have there original stainless on them and are in good condition for there age, the driver side door panel will need some attention. The dash pads are in good condition with there stock gauges. If you look closely at the rpm gauge you'll notice the high rpm tach. This car also has it's original wonderbar radio. Over all this car will make a good driver or a fun car to redo. This is a real 270hp daul carburator car and is highly sought after. This is a collectable Corvette. |
