Car history:
I am the 4th owner. I have been in contact with the original owner. He bought the car from Citizens Chevrolet in Eagle Rock Ca.(L.A. Area). He said that the hardtop was stolen off of the car in 1967. He ordered a new one from Chevy and had to have it painted to match the car. I bought the car in 1986 and have restored a lot of it. As far as I know the car has always been registered in California. It has the black with yellow numbered license plates. I found the protector plate owners book under the front passengar seat.I tracked the original owner through that book.The car has been on the Arizona Route 66 Fun Run Car rally every year since 1989. Driven all the way every year from"North"California.
