Car history:
1954 Sportsman Red/Red #'s matching, original Corvette Convertible. This is 1 out of a possible 100 Corvettes made with this color combination for this year. This car has its original Blue Flame Six cylinder engine. The casting code is 3835911, & date code B 23, it is pictured below along with the date codes on the engine. The original Head is on the engine, casting code 3836241, date code C 19, and its pictured below along with the rest of the numbers. The original Carter Carburators, code #'s 2066A #3706989, are pictured below that come with this car. We also have the original drive train including the original Powerglide transmission, and the original rear end. This car has a very respectable body with clean floor boards and a solid body that needs some minor repair on the front. The passenger side front fender is the area that needs repair and the lower cowl. The line on the driver side fender is just a chord, not a crack. The body does look great. The doors, hood, deck lid, and trunk lid are pictured. The frame is in excellent rust condition. The parts on the trailor include all the gauges, windshield and frame, headlights with cage covers, the small bumpers, the suspension including all the wheel hubs, seat frames, dash, grill, heater & fan, starter, radio, wheels, and other miscellaneous parts.
