Engine details: The engine is a 1990 350/5.7L Tuned Port Fuel injection, full roller motor (cam and rockers). Behind it is a 700R4 Automatic trans with the Bowtie Overdrives crossmember and shifter, so the shifter is in the factoy location. I am running a DeWitts direct fit aluminum Radiator with electric fan.
Other details: The car has been completely stripped down to the bare fiberglass and has a new coat of Roman Red and Snow Crest White paint. The frame is 100 percent fresh. I will be adding front disc brakes and a dual master cylinder at a later date. Since buying it in June 2014, I have now completed the car to about 95 percent, with the last parts being the inner door panels. I have built this car for my wife and I can't believe it has taken me only 13 months to get it back on the road. She is also sporting a 1956 CA License plate that has been restored and has a 1959 Sticker. It has original Bias Ply white wall tires, original Daytona Weave red carpet and all new Al Knotch red seat covers, foam and springs. I have also added the smaller leather wrapped steering wheel.

Car history:
The car is said to have been raced back in the 60's and 70's in southern California. It was purchased by a guy from Alta Loma back in 1983 when he saw it in the gentleman's back yard. He said he had to work on the guy for a year...and finally, he bought it. He was telling me that it sat in his back yard for quite a while before he even touched it. He started off on the frame, sand blasting everything in his driveway in a makeshift sandblasting booth. He got the frame completly assembled with all the original hardware, and got some of the bodywork done...then broke his back at work. So once again... the car was just sitting. After months of himming and hawing...He decided to sell it in October of 2013. It took me until June 2014 before he finally committed to sell it...sounds like the way he got it!!!
The car is an original factory Roman Red car with Aux Hard top. power windows, posi 3.70 gears, original Powerglide automatic and heater delete option. I took her on the road last week, November 7, 2015. This was the first time since before 1983 that she has been over 55 miles per hour!!! What a smooth ride!!! That 1940's/1950's technology is scary in the turns though!!! Still... Way worth the trouble. forgot to mention...these cars are expensive to restore!!!!
