Other details:	1957 Corvette. This car has been sitting in a garage in the Las Vegas area for around thirty years. The car was taken apart for new paint and while the car was at the paint shop, someone broke into the owner’s garage and stole all the parts: motor, transmission, hard top, seats, gauges, chrome pieces, etc. The owner was so disappointed, the car sat in his garage for around thirty years until I bought it and started the restoration. Here is what I did to restore the car. I am sure I forgot to list some of the smaller items I had to purchase. This car was just finished December 2010. Body: New black paint with silver coves. Clear coated and polished. New side cove trim moldings. New door handles and locks. New taillights and headlights and rings. New park light lenses and chrome. New grille and bumpers. New exhaust chrome. New emblems and license plate lamps. Complete new weather stripping kit. New door strikers and outside mirror. Stainless pieces around deck lid repolished. New improved hood hinges with power lift hood. There is no convertible top or hardtop, . Interior: New Wise Guys black leather seats and frames. New Daytona black weave carpet set and seal plates. New 15-inch leather steering wheel with new chrome IDIDIT steering column. New dash pad. New Auto Meter gauges. New Speedo chrome bezel and lens. New speaker bezel. New shift plate and boot. New inside mirror. New stereo and power antenna. Inside firewall has Hush Mat insulation. New black door panels and kick panels. Complete new wiring harness from EZ Wiring front to back. New Vintage Air A/C unit. New power window kit from Corvette Central, cost $489, needs to be installed. New window channel and felts. New inner and outer top of door moldings and end caps. Door posts have been rechromed. Windshield posts have been rechromed. All stainless around windshield has been polished. New windshield and windshield channel. Trunk area has been completely redone with new upholstery. Motor: Completely rebuilt 350 cu motor with approximately 340 hp. . New dual quad Endurashine Edelbrock manifold. New carburetors and air cleaner. New polished valve covers and chrome oil pan. MSD distributor with 6 series ignition box with new spark plug wires and polished aluminum spark plug wire looms. New chrome power brake booster and dual master cylinder. New chrome A/C compressor and alternator and brackets. New polished belt pulleys and polished remote power steering reservoir. New power steering pump. New chrome water pump. New battery with tray and hold down brackets. New Wizard polished aluminum radiator with electric fan. New Patriot tight tuck headers. Completely rebuilt T-10 4-speed transmission with new Hurst shifter. New clutch and linkage. New drive shaft and yoke and U-joints. Frame: The frame was removed from body and completely taken apart and painted. New TCI independent front suspension with polished stainless A arms. Adjustable coil over shocks; shocks are polished stainless. The adjustable coil over shocks allow for the front suspension to be raised or lowered. New chrome front sway bar. New power rack and pinion steering. New disc brakes up front with new rebuilt drum brakes on rear. New stainless brake lines. New Bilstein gas shocks in rear. New sway bar in rear. Rear end has 336 gears. New steel monoleaf rear springs with 2-inch drop. New exhaust system with Magna Flow mufflers. Complete new gas tank kit. New body mount kit. New Coys 20-inch wheels and tires. Front tires 225/35ZR-20. Rear tires 255/35ZR-20.
