1962 Roman Red Corvette with 340 HP 327 engine. Black interior. Hard top only. Have much of history. Vehicle purchased in Arizona in 1990, driven to S. California, and stored in a garage ever since. The engine and interior compartments were dismantled toward an NCRS type restoration. 90% of all needed items for the NCRS restoration have been purchased and stored. The proper part number, and date code components that have been purchased include: two engine blocks, heads, intake manifold, carburetor (rebuilt), exhaust manifolds, transmission (rebuilt), bell housing, flywheel, air cleaner, distributor (rebuilt), generator and tag, voltage regulator, shifter, harmonic balancer, oil pan, oil filter, starter, fuel pump, fan, tachometer (refinished), rear view mirror, ash tray, hard top wrench, wheels (refinished), wheel covers, steering wheel, dash insert, etc. All of these components are either fully refinished, rebuilt or in good to very good condition. The engine compartment and interior need to be reassembled. The body, frame, hard top, and chrome are in good to very good condition. Have all chrome and body emblems. One set of rear tail lights need to be replaced. Few small body flaws from garage storage. Have hundreds of photographs taken during initial purchase, drive and all disassembly. Have most of the removed items except for the engine and transmission. The vehicle has been licensed in California. Perfect vehicle and components for one looking to restore a classic. |
