| Car history: |
| 1956 Corvette convertible says it all!!! This is a one family vehicle. My Dad bought it brand new back in the spring of 1956 from White Chevrolet in Zanesville, Ohio. It has 52,000+ original miles. It is a 3 speed manual shift. There has been some minor body work and paint done over the years. It no longer has the dual carbs on the 265 ci engine. Unfortunately Dad removed them years ago and put them on a race car. It now has a single four brrl. The top has been replaced so it is in great shape. Aside from that all the numbers match up and it runs like it is new. When my mother and father passed on I bought this piece back from the estate and I have had it ever since. |
