Car history:
EARLY 1958 Corvette Convertible; I believe it was built January 10, 1958. The car has been in my family many years. It was bought in California by my brother who was in the Marine Corps for 24 years. It was shipped with him to his various duty stations until I bought it from him in 2004.
The car has a 1965 Chevrolet 327 (NOM) which was rebuilt and painted and runs very strong. This is not a numbers matching vehicle but could be very easily. I already have an intake that is correct that does come with the car. The interior is in fantastic shape with no rips or tears and no wear. New items include carpet, door panels, seat covers and dash pad. The convertible top is new also. The paint job is immaculate. I always get compliments on it when I drive it, whether to a show or just out. Everyone comes up to me to talk about the car and always talks about the paint job. The car is painted the correct Signet Red with White coves. The tires have less than 500 miles on them and were bought from Coker. They are wider than originals but I like them that way. The rimes are not original; I believe they are rally wheels. The car has the original radio and I had it refurbished but have not hooked it up yet. I do have the hardtop for the car but it needs a complete restoration.
