It’s original common 283 V-8 has been replaced with a late 90’s Corvette tuned port injected state of the art 350 V-8 mated to a close ratio 4 speed transmission. No one will expect your cruiser to blow their doors off when you pull up alongside, but you will dust them every time. So you have the best of both worlds with this world class vintage roadster.
Lets talk about details, Exterior, This California (Black Plate included) roadster’s body looks perfect and appears to be an all original glass no hit body. Everything fits superbly on the stunning roman red and white core exterior. The paint work is just breathtaking with no orange peel and is ready to show with pride at almost any level. All the chrome is very good to excellent condition and appears to be mostly original.
The interior is in very nice restored clean condition with virtually no wear. The convertible top is white, high end quality virtually new condition.
Undercarriage is immaculate with the original frame being in mint condition and everything under, new or rebuilt condition. All systems have been totally gone thru on this one and completely new or rebuilt throughout the car.
Overall the fit and finish of this California Roadster are stunning. I have not seen many that compare and it is one of the straightest 1960 Vette bodies you will ever see with just perfect tolerances for this vintage.
